What Is a Voltage Current Protector?

A voltage current protector (also known as an adjustable digital over/under voltage and overcurrent protector, or a self-recovering voltage-current combination protector) is a DIN-rail mounted device installed in distribution boxes for integrated circuit protection.

What does it do?

It monitors voltage and current 24/7. When levels exceed safe limits, it cuts power instantly. Once the grid or load returns to normal, it automatically reconnects power after a preset delay. It tackles two major electrical risks: voltage instability and overload.

OBCH offers both single-phase and three-phase models in various current ratings. What are the differences?

• 1P+N Single-Phase (220V – Residential)
Ideal for home main supplies, EV chargers, and retail shops. Monitors single-phase voltage and current. Available ratings: 40A / 63A / 80A / 100A.
• 3P+N Three-Phase (380V – Industrial)
Ideal for factory motors, central air conditioning, and commercial solar systems. Monitors voltage across three phases and current on each phase. Also protects against phase loss and phase imbalance. Available ratings: 63A / 80A / 100A.
